The Brodhead Lions Club, established in 1957, is the local chapter of Lions International, the largest service organization in the world focused on health initiatives and community service. The Brodhead Lions also sponsor the Brodhead Leo Club made up of high school and middle school students dedicated to community service and supporting Lions activities and events. Health related activities include youth vision screening and eyeglass recycling. Community service activities include the senior citizens pancake breakfast, rose day, food stands, tent rental, downtown holiday lights and the Lions scholarship for graduating students. Building projects include the Legion Park Pavilion, High School Press Box, Putnam Park Shelter and Veterans Park Shelter. We are also a major supporter of the Pearl Island Corridor development project.
