Economic development in Brodhead is a cooperative effort between several partners, including the Brodhead Planning Commission, Brodhead Chamber of Commerce, Brodhead Business Improvement District (BID), and Brodhead Economic Development Committee (EDC). In addition, the Brodhead City Council provides the services and policies that ensure a business’ long term success.

The over 200 businesses in the City of Brodhead have discovered the many benefits of locating in our small community. We are an affordable community with access to a talented and creative workforce. We welcome businesses of all styles and sizes to locate and expand and we stand ready to serve and assist even the smallest new company. Although our global location is more rural we are conveniently located within less than an hour or two of several major markets, including Madison, Milwaukee, Rockford, and Chicago.
